Hey all, I recently built my new computer and the problem is that my 8800 gts is not working for some reason. The computer itself turns on, stays on fine, but nothing comes through to the monitor. I double checked each video output on the card, as well as making sure the power connector was in as well as the card being correctly attached to the mobo. So, what's the deal?

Monitor isn't really new. In fact, i've been using this monitor for my old computer for quite a while, and it works fine with that computer. (and I use old lightly, it's only like a few months old).

I tried both the DVI connectors, neither of them worked. For the record, I have a 500w thermatake psu so that should be sufficient..

Do you have another videocard around to test that it is your new videocard and not other hardware?

Unfortunately no, I don't. They're all currently being used.

If the're compatible it will only take you a few minutes to check, you can always reinstall them.
