So in my rig, I've got an overclocked 8800gt and Crysis. With my overclock and a Crysis config later, I get these playable results.......

It definitely was (and still is) a good card! can you believe it came out Nov 8th 2006? thats OVER 2 years!

For those who bought when it first came out they definitely got a futureproof card! truly amazing!

yeah i got mine in Jan 2007 and I can still play most games on high with no lag. The new Prince of Persia and Farcry 2 max out with no lag with an 8800gt i got my moneys worth.

October 29rd 2007 actually.

My 8800GTX is still kickin' too. Got it June 23rd, 2007. I'll probably have it for at least a few more months til I can afford a GTX 280/295

1680x1050? Oh. Anyway, I've been looking for a new monitor as mine atm is a complete P.O.S. I think I may get a 22" 1920x1080 set, with HDMI on Newegg for only $190. Smaller screen=more pixels per inch=better iq. How ya think my 8800gt will hold up?:P:P8):P:P

Yeah it's still great. I've only had my 8800GT 6 months but I like it. Could be a bit cooler though. The 9600GT ran almost the same for me with AA but ran a lot cooler.

yeah i have 8800gt ocx in SLI,

great cards, but im upgrading my cpu from 6000+ to the phenom II 940

removing any and all bottlenecking i have and will have due to cpu.

and once i get that phenom II 940... i will see a big difference on just one card activated, and truly see SLI when i have both activated in the SLI setting.

Im sure it was released in 2007, but i might be wrong. Anyway i dont own it but looking at benchmarks, it looks fantastic still.
