I'm one of those unfortunate people to have bought a 320mb GTS. The price cuts have come and it makes me wonder if its worth it to throw another GTS into my computer. Is it worth the $115? I don't want to toss the old card out, so I was thinking SLI might not be a bad idea, rather than spending 300 on a better card. Also, is 2x320mb just as good as a 640mb card in terms of memory, or will there be some loss? I guess i just dont understand SLI all that well. thanks for any help

Well it's kinda difficult to say whether it's worth it or not.The problem is that SLI does NOT double your VRAM so unfortunately you will still have the VRAM bottleneck and it will be bigger with 2 cards.

However surely you will get better performance still in games that need alot of VRAM but it wont exactly be as good as you think. For $115 it seems quite intriging but I wont do it as that the VRAM will just bottleneck.
