So, should i buy an 8800gtx now or wait? When do the next latest cards come out? Currently using a 7600GTPhantsy16wait for it i don't understand everyones ubsession with buying direct 10 cards now the first games supporting direct 10 doesn't even come out till may then the next one isn't till november and i wouldn't be suprised if less then 30 percent of the games coming out in 2008 support it so just buy a better direct 9 card like the 7900GS or 7900GT depending on you budget then make the direct 10 leap in late 2008 when more games support it also the cards will be cheaper

Or buy the best DX9 card which also supports DX10. 8800gtx. If you want good fps with hi res and maxed settings on many of the latest games you need an 8800gtx. With the r600 so close might as well wait.

The 8800gtx supports dx9 obviously, and it is the best performing card for dx9 games.
