I saw the 9800 gt at newegg.com. I've never seen that one before. Any benchmarks?

Just check some 8800GT benchmarks; it's pretty much one of those with a new sticker on it.

Its a renamed 8800GT just like how the 9600GSO is a renamed 8800gs so that should sum it up

just look at the 8800gt benchmarkes, its nothing but a 8800gt with a new name. the gpu marketing these days

The 9800GT and 8800GT are basically the same, except they can't SLI with each other.

We benched the 9800GT against a 8800GT and actually got (slightly) worse scores. Then we realized that the 8800GT we had was factory overclocked. We were like... DOH! Of COURSE an overclocked card gets better benches.

yeah, it's better, definately not by a lot but the extra frames ARE there

You do realize this thread is over a year old right?

Also the 8800 GT and 9800 GT are the exact same, there will be no difference between the two. Here is a great side by side comparison. See identical in every aspect.
