I want to buy a new card so I was thinking 9800GTX 1Gb 256bit or GTX260 896Mb 448bit same price and the only difference besides the memory size is the clock speed (core clock) the first is 775 Mhz and the other is 576 Mhz if Im not making a mistake! Please help to decide (I really thinking on the 9800) so please advise!

That's like comparing the HD4850 to the HD4870.

Well the clock speed is slower, yes, but the amount of stream processors is more in the 260, hence it being much quicker.

If they are the same price, the GTX 260 would be the obvious choice. It will outperform the 9800GTX in EVERY single game.

Make sure you get the GTX 260 Core 216, instead of the old GTX 260 with 192 SPs. It is much better.

The GTX 260 gets better performance. But there are 9800 GTXs that have better cooling solutions... so far. I don't have much airflow in my case, so I went with the 9800 GTX. It has a great fan/pipe configuaration on it plus 1GB of memory. I do not regret it. The highest it went was 55C.

You have an Antec 900. I have terrible airflow.
