Hi. I've just realized that my PSU (750W) doesn't have the 6pin and 8pin connector, but 2 6pin connectors. (sad).

I still want to buy a 9800GX2. I've heard that is not recommended to use a "8pin to 6pin connector", but it seems that the 9800GX2 BFG has one of those connectors included. Is that true?

If so, should I get a 9800GX2 BFG and use that connector?

Thanks in advance.

I know it's not recommended, but it seems that BFG sell the 9800GX2 with it included. And EVGA sell that connector too. So I was thinking: Well, it might be like the laptop GPU warning "Might work but it's not supported".

I have a NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI.

Thanks for your advise.
