hey guys. well me and about 9 other friends quit wow recently and are now looking for a new game to play. and i was wondering if u guys had any ideas.

were looking for 2 new games to test b4 we commit. a shooter and another rpg. of course they gotta be online cause we wana play togeather.

some of us unfortunatly dont have the best pcs in the world so dont go too crazy. bf2 and WoW:BC runs with no probelms for any of us if that helps.

any ideas and help would be awsome. thanks guys :D

umm guild wars & battlefield 2142 (try the bf2142 mp demo, im playing right now although there are some pb issues).

Hold out a bit for Tabula Rasa

Guild Wars, but don't go in expecting WoW like gameplay. More akin to Diablo meets Unreal tournament than WoW.

LoTR online, if you want a WoW replacement.

I am also an ex-wow player, personally I am waiting to see if Tabula Rasa is going to be good. Currently as far as fps games go I am playing Insurgency, it is a halflife 2 mod. It's a tactical shooter and is very very realistic. There's no radar and if you get hit in a vital area you are pretty much dead. The only real radar type thing in it is a thing that leads you in the direction of your next objective and that is controlled by your squad commander so if the commander doesn't lead the way you have to find the objectives on your own. The game can get frustrating sometimes because you dieeasy and if someone gets the jump on you it is basically over. Great game though if you liketactical shooters.

LOTR online if you can't wait.

Age of Conan, Hellgate London, and Warhammer Online are all very promising titles coming out either this year or beginning of next.

If you're really into pvp, hold out for Darkfall, once Aventurine gets a publisher the game should get a lot more press, right now there's a programmer doing all their press releases, that's the only reason there's really nothing in the way of news, at least, not frequently. And don't bring up all the 'that's vaporware' bull. Unless some anomaly occurs and the entire staff at aventurine is wiped out, the game will release. When, I can't say, but hopefully, very, very soon. :D

If you really want an online game where you can play and work together you shuold try Lineage 2... It can really make you work as a team... As for FPS counter-strike is the best, although i dont like it LOL... Me and my friends pl the old Rainbow six:Urban Ops... Its an old game but its really fun and has very low system requirements LOL:D

yeah, counterstrike is definitely fun and WILL work on your computers, i never really got into Battlefield 2, but that's me. can't help you with RPG's, I don't play em

i recently started playing Call of Duty 2 online (im new to the multiplayer scene). Its quite addictive. you should try that out if you are interested.

hmmm. . . i'm not "in" to FPS, but you can play wyd for mmorpg, here you can play FPS while leaving you character leveling up. . . :idea:

Guild Wars rocks them all...but since you don't want to play it (a big mistake) I would go for Age of Conan.

i don't know. i haven't played 2 moons, but i understand that is very good too.
