Okay, so I'm a noob. I said it. With that being said, I want to upgrade my PC. I just got a new computer with Vista, and it doesn't have the best specs... 1.8 GHz processor (said 2 GHz...), 900 MB RAM (Said 1 GB.... all LIES!), and the video card... well, let's just say it came with the computer.

So this is what I'm looking at right now:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814121007

Will it be hard to install (remember, I'm a noob)? Are these good choices?
I played Halo on it, and it was miserabel. On all of the highest settings, which my old computer performed flawlessly on, this one completely failed. It was about 3 or 4 FPS.

Also, since Halo 2 for the PC is Vista only, does that mean it's DirectX10 only as well? Or could I use that video card with it?

Any advice is appreciated!

On a side note: I'm also looking at getting the Razer Tarantula:

Does anybody have this or recommend it?

It will not be hard to install. You can find many websites that will show step by step instructions with pictures an everything. Yes, you can use DX9 cards. May have to download drivers. Im not sure. Also your better of buying like a a decent 1 GB RAM like.

I have a few questions for you. Does you board support C2D or core 2 duo??? Are you looking to upgrade in the future for DX10 games???
