Well I have never really gotten into any RTS games. I want to try a good one out can anyone Tell me a good one to start out with. Thanks

Start with Company of heroes for strategy, Rise of Nations or Age of Empires for general RTS

The StarCraft, WarCraft, Company of Heroes, Dawn of War, and Command & Conquer series are good to start out with.

I can recommend Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Company Of Heroes, and Dawn Of War II!

Company of Heroes. And god... once you start getting into multiplayer you'll be playing like there's no tomorrow.

WARCRAFT 3 is a solid choice, you really can't go wrong with it if you enjoy RTS

do you want something newer or would an older game work for you?

if you want new, i suggest company of heroes.

if older is OK, go with age of empires ii or age of mythology.

Anything made by Blizzard, and creative assembly aka the total war series.

Although I am not a fan the Company of Heroes series is said to be really good by most rts enthusiasts. I really enjoyed Dawn of War Dark Crusade, and Dawn of War 2 is supposedly really good too.

RA3. Its funny and good... for an EA game, even though it has DRM and SecuRom.

I think, latest patch removed DRM. Not sure though.
