hi i was wondering if anyone could help me with a few names for games like those old space fighter games where you are a playing a shipflying through space shooting and upgrading your ships weapons (preferbly one where you can play multiplayer) and not just old ones new ones tooin the same arcade feel ofcourse.
You just described Freespace 2. One of the best flight sims ever and plays just about any computer nowadays. I also hear it has gone free and there's a website out there that re-textured it. Also check out Freelancer.
No i meen the really old 2d fighter you know (your either on the bottom or on the left) shooting at ships comin at you and now and then you get weapons upgrade as you kill and get stuff
