PC's wireless is irrelevant to whether your laptop can have wireless internet. What you need is a wireless modem-router.With that you will connect your laptop, your PC and your Xbox to the internet wireless.

As kodex1717 said you should provide us with more info if you want more details.

A modem-router does two things.

1.Provides internet to the connected devices.(Modem)

2.Creates a LAN between the connected devices.(Router)

Connected devices can be wirelessly connected or through an ethernet cable.

For a device to connect wirelessly both the device and the modem-router must support wireless connection.I attach you a photo of the back side of a wireless modem-router(the front is not important!!!).You can tell it's wireless from the antennas! The far left port is for the telephone line (to provide internet) and the four ports that are together are the ethernet ports in which you connect your devices(if you connect them wirelessly these ports should be empty).

The next image demonstrates a basic network(non-wireless)

Hope I helped you and that you understand my English!!!!

I'm waiting your feedback!!!

This is what I know:

1) You need internet service...cable, dsl, whatever

2) for wireless you need a wireless router or wireless modem router. The modem allows you to connect to your internet service- you probably already have one. A wireless router connects to the modem to send out the wireless signal that your pc or laptop picks up via the built-in or external wireless card. you can find wireless router/modem combos. Just go to the electronics store and ask the dude in the computer section what you need

3) If your laptop does not have a built-in wireless receiever/card (most newer ones do by the way so really check this), then you can by a wireless card that you can plug into the the laptop via usb port or another kind of port

4) Another option is the straight up wireless intenet card that you can purchase from cell companies like Sprint or Verizon. This is like having a separate internet services that you can use anywhere cause it's basically running off cell lines.

5) i have no clue about xbox live which I thought just worked with...well...an xbox. Howvever, for multi-player pc games you should be able to play anything with a wireless internet connection

i'm certainly not a techie but that's my two-cents just from experience
