A question about my processer speed....

I have a 1.6 Ghz intel processer....theres a game that I want to play that has a minimum requirement of 1.7 ghz. could i get away with 1.6? im completely newbishh to this....

And if not....how do i upgrade my processer? Do I just buy another one and install it?

If it's an Exxx series Pentium, you should be fine, as it's Core 2 Duo based. Typically GHz recommendations are for older CPUs like Pentium 4s and Pentium Ds unless specifically a Core 2 Duo speed is listed. You are running a dual core right? I think the 1.7 GHz requirement is for a single core processor, Orange Box does use dual cores for most of the games now (TF2 was just recently patched to do so) so you should be alright.
