I just saw that Hp is having a limited time offer sale on one of their Blackbirds for only $1.999 and i was wondering that if i buy it can i add more stuff into it..like umm dual GPUs or something like that? or do i have to get a higher priced one with all the bells and whistle. Even though i know that its designed with customization in mind but i am just wondering.

Don't get it. It's an incredible waste of money, I bet you can build a rig with the same or better components than the HP Blackbird for half the price.

yeah, it's overpriced... you can even find better for cheaper with other brands if you don't want to build

Why yes you can :) Oh and just so you know that deal doesn't come with a keyboard and mouse you have to add that for extra $ if you don't already own a m/kb.

To those who say its not worth it they obviously haven't been inside a blackbird. The wiring is 5x better then an alienware ands 20x better then doing it youself because of the placement of the wires and such. Then is also the unique case with the optimzed flow of air that allows for amazing overclocking without liquids and with liquids...welll its damn sexy with'em.

I would go for the 2000 dollar blackbird if i were you, that is if u have the money cause its sooo worth it! Plus it comes with a blackbird motherboard driver allowing for cross fire and sli on the nvidia boards, as well they have great maintence tools from their customer support line.

I love my blackbird :) I used to build my own PC's but after so many system errors and having to fix them i just got fed up and wanted reliabilty as well as an easy service that will fix my comp for free.

Yeah the birds come with 1 year free warranty thats parts and labour. They are adding a 5 year warranty for 150 bucks at the end of the year as well.

Lol? You're a fanboy of your own computer. You can't say wire mangement in them is 20x better than doing it yourself just because your **** @ cable management. And hell, why is a $600-700 premium worth a snazzy looking case + cable mangement? It's overpriced, whichever way you swing it. "Optimized flow of air allows for an amazing overclock" yeah, must be the only case in the world with decent airflow. From what I can see it doesn't even have that many fan slots.

With regards to fixing your own comp it depends on which way you swing it. You can be without a pc for two weeks while they fix it and often have to pay for P&P or I can spend half hour doing my own troubleshooting and fixing it myself. Takes more effort but is much faster.
