It's actually 6.4 GB.....and you need a really good video card to render all the HD textures...citizen-zero

Still a large download, and is it 6.4 unpacked or is it just the download itself? I might give it a go.

I saw this in a post a while back and was going to grab it but didn't really want to devote 6 gigs. HL2 is magical enough as it is.

So, care to share the link? I can only find one that has 1gb and it is exactly the same as in those screens. PC is not a problem :, not with HL2 anyway, with any enhancement, because I had a HD pack for it already but it wasn't as good as this one :P, so please share the link, help one that hates HL2 :P.

Now make sure you have a 64-bit OS or your going to have many crashes this mod is using so much memory and bandwidth a 32bit os cant handle it all the time plus limits with steam. The only thing you can do to with using a 32 bit os is to increase the heapsize to 512mb to 1gb to lesson the crashs. Also this mod does add more hollywood music and changes the weapon's sounds and power and all textures to high res.

Thanks, what I found was the beta and don't worry, 64 bit FTW and I also have 4gb of RAM, no problems. I hope now I can enjoy HL2 :) (bad part: it will take about 10 to 12 hours to get it from filefront :(, but, oh well, you have to make sacrifices, it's not like I got 18 gb of mods for Oblivion just to make it playable and fun :P)

Lol it only took me 3 hours to download all the parts. Also read the readme for directions too even thou it has a setup exe that does most of the job for you.

I like the face in the second photo, though the hair is all wrong. Reminds me of Angelina Jolie.

You DO need... it's in the read-me in the donwload page.

And I honestly don't think it's worth it... It looks like a perv dream now... earlier versions were better, it improved the models and textures and didn't turn everyone into hollywood people... He should deliver the mod in small packages... so you can choose which models, textures or soundtrack to download....

I played it on 32bit. It didnt really crash that much. Its worth a shot, but you definitly wont be running it on max everything. Even with this mod I didnt finish Episode 2 again (the one i tried). Its great the first time but the gameplay is so linear I find no replay value in the SP HL2 series..
