A world of warcraft question

I just started the game about a week ago, despite choosing a shaman troll 1st because I thought it was the strongest and then even hearing among the game it was, I was having second thoughts to use it as my primary character as I just found the spells so un-intresting and the way of combat tiresome. The druid grabbed my attention and I've been levelling up my druid elf just 2 levels past my troll (level 12)

BUT...

Before I put all my time into this druid and lose my friends etc after having no social life I really want to know are druids atleast half decent even if they may not be as strong as shamans??

So I came up with a very helpful question to remove any doubt from my mind letting me get on with my W.O.W life

What would you rate druids compared to the other classes?? Or what is you opinion on druids in strength?

druids are quite good tanks, sometimes i prefer them over a warrior. Healing wise they are a bit weaker, and they cant really dps at all. So yea, they're ALRIGHT but nothing special.

Sorry, I'll take my arms warrior over a feral druid any day of the week.
