Here's the rough specs.
Windows 10 OS
CPU: AMD FX-6350 3.9 GHZ
Motherboard: ECS A960M-MV
Ram: 2X8GB (16GB) DDR3 1600 MHZ
GPU: Radon RX560 2 GB DDR5
2 X2TB HDD for storage (4 TB total)
1X Roswell micro ATX Case FBM-01
1X CD ROM
1X 500 watt PSU, 80+ bronze. I think it's a Thermaltake brand but I'm not sure.
Now, for some context, I had the CPU and motherboard for about four years, but only used them for about six months before my old graphics card died out. Around that time my mobile home needed some TCL, namely half a dozen trees moved, ductwork replacements, and a complete retro-fit of the water system, so I never really got around to fixing the gaming PC until recently as it cost a lot to complete the work on my home, as well as other things coming up and I don't exactly have a lot of money to work with, herence why I decided to reuse the FX and ECS processor and motherboard. I also reused the PSU after making sure it worked fine.
I previously had 8 GB of DDR3 1300 MHZ, but I wanted faster ram and twice the amount. While I could have gotten DDR3 1866 MHZ, I decided to save a bit of money and go with the 1600 MHZ ram.
As for the hard drives, I wanted to have two of them, one for a Steam hard drive, (Which was slightly used,) and one for the main hard drive/ other PC games. (This one was compleatly new BTW)
I just wanted a simple Mirco AXT tower. There wasn't really much other reason for the case, except maybe for a bit of nostalgia.
I will admit that the Radeon RX560 was probably a tad overkill given I'm using an older FX processor, But my thinking process was (Hey, this is a pretty powerful GUP at $150 and my motherboard supports it, so let's buy this one.
So...what do you all think?
