I just got one of these yesterday and started playing Halo PC with it. The analog sticks were 'sticky' and the controller 'lagged' when I pressed some buttons. I don't know if it's a faulty controller, just the game, or the controller in general. I'm thinking of returning it.

Someone please help.

Why in gods name would you but a gamepad to play a shooter on the PC? Thats what the mouse and keyboard is for, if you wanna play it with a gamepad get it for the Xbox

If it is a new controller, I'd let it get worn in for a few days at least before you return it. If it is used, I'd question it's reliability. As far as the lag goes, Halo tends to lag actions regardless of input type but you could have some interference as well but doubtful. Make sure you download the newest MS drivers, they've updated the 360 controller drivers a couple of times and try again.

Halo on PC is just as good if not better than the Xbox version. Especially with modded content, Halo CE, weapons that Halo Xbox didn't have etc. Why not play it at a higher resolution with more content, and a better controller than the Xbox?? Besides, Halo has no online multiplayer unless you go through 3rd party programs that convert your connection into a virtual LAN.

Maybe because Halo PC goes online and the Halo for Xbox doesn't. After reading some of your last posts, maybe you should listen to your sig.

Sorry for double-post, but there's a bug w/ the 360 controller and Halo PC/Geometry Wars, they both tilt a certain direction and you have to move the analog stick to get it to work.
