As the title says, I'm about to buy this game using steam.. One question.. There are 3 different downloads.. Company of Heroes Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts Which do I need for FULL MULTIPLAYER. I was told that I could buy Tales of Valor and Opposing Fronts ONLY ($50) and be able to play anything and everything in Multiplayer but I would miss out on single - player missions. I am not interested in the single player at all and most likely would never touch it.. So can I get away with buying Tales of Valor and Opposing Fronts ONLY and be able to play everything that I would ever need in multiplayer?

Direct 2 Drive has all 3 for $53 something. http://www.direct2drive.com/4/7769/product/Buy-Company-of-Heroes-Complete-Bundle-Download

I haven't used direct 2 drive before. Could obviously wait for steam to offer the all 3 bundle again.

Can't answer your question about if that lets you play everything.

Does Direct 2 Drive let me download the game whenever I want... forever? Like steam?

From their FAQ

How can I save my download to cdrom?

Once you have downloaded the file you are welcome to save it for later on a cdrom. Save yourself time downloading again. Remember, each time you install and activate the game you are deactivating the previous license. Install wisely! If you need help, Customer Service is ready!
Please note that games are often updated without a separate patch being released. If you save your game files to CDRom or DVD - it's possible that you may have an older version of the game should you install your game at a later date.

Appears you can burn stuff to CD or download again. I know I saw the whole complete pack on steam for like 49.99 for awhile or maybe during one of their weekend deals but I couldn't find it again.

Tales of Valor has everything, single and multi, and should only cost 30 dorra for a hard copy. You will love it long time.

No, Tales of Valor doesnt have any of the Original or Opposing Fronts single player campaigns. Not sure about multiplayer.

I don't know much, but $50 for Company of Heroes and Opposing Fronts is a horrible deal. I got them both for $30 at Best Buy.

I'd suggest getting the original, you'll still be able to play against players who have Opposing Fronts. (I'm not entirely sure if that's true for Tales of Valor though).

D2D is fine and you can download the game as much as you want. Basically, consider that you have your copy saved online as opposed to CD, although you can burn it if you wish.

By the way, I know you prefer multiplayer but you are really missing out by not playing the original and Opposing Fronts single player campaigns. Plus, it helps prep you some for the multi-player.
