AMD Athlon II X4 640(3.0GHz)

4GB DDR3 1333

1TB SATA II

NVIDIA GeForce GTS450 1GB

24X DL DVD+/-RW Drive

It's a pre-made on newegg. 700 bucks. Problem is, it doesn't leave much room for future upgrades. Nearly, none, actually. But since my total is going to be over 1.2k, I'm trying to settle for a mid-range--nothing spectacular, but able to handle modern games on high settings. And, yes, I know it'd be cheaper to buy the parts myself. I'm too lazy for that, though. (And have no idea how to even start building my own--or buying the proper parts to accommodate each other).

While its nice to have an SSD. For the price of a 1TB HDD you can only get 32GB SSD.

Building your own pc isnt necessarily cheaper up front, definitely in the long run though. That build there won't last you more than 2 years I think
