Hey Im looking to get the Acer Aspire 5720 T7500 2GB 15.4" Laptop

I was just wondering if any of you know if it will be able to play standard games on it. Not big games like Crysis etc but like Call of Duty and CS:S. I dont need it to be full High Quality when playing but decent enough to play.

It's got an Intel X3100 video chipset. That's a no for games.You need something with a Radeon or a nVidia chipset at the very least, even for less demanding games (old games like CS:S will be fine).

Really? cause videos like this : http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2gDgY3ynIUI&feature=related on youtube are using the Intel X3100 and they seem to be running ok.

I have an Acer Aspire, (with a 1.6 duo core proccessor) with an x3100. Just for reference i can get around 20fps with cod4 on lowest settings at 800x600, i can play cs:s at 1280x800 on all low, i can play company of heroes on 800x600 on medium, and i can play half life 2 on medium at 1280x800. hope this helps.

The Acer Aspire series is one of the worst in the history of mankind. It has the worst build quality I have ever seen, especially the screens and keyboards.
