hey i've been trying to find a good action role playing but i can't find anything but an action role playing where you'd just click and make a fast swing then hold down the clicker and make power swing and the other mouse clicker and you'd block and you'd have your everyday spells like frost bolt or fire bolt or lightning bolt all of them is lame bolt.

what im asking is im trying to find a action role playing game with a much better combat system something like a prince of persia action so far all i've found is The Witcher but im having 2nd thoughs of getting this one so i was wondering if anyone could help me out.

the witcher IS a good choice for what you're looking for. i would have 3rd thoughts about it if i were you.

if it doesn't have to be swords, i also recommend mass effect. quite simply the best action rpg around.

oh and 1 more thing i don't want to be playing something like a kiddies RPG like the 1st Fable unless stuff like that is like kinda the 1 of the few options of RPGs i find Oblivion sorta boring cause it's to damn complicated and i rekon Guild Wars is just the same to damn complicated

if you could also suggest some action RPGs with a bit more blood and violence then it wouldn't feel like i kiddies RPG otherwise i might as well stick to Gears of War and Silent Hill 5

You might want to check out Dark Messiah of Might and Magic - it's less complicated than Oblivion with much better combat, and gore.

As for The Witcher, your clicks don't exactly correspond with every single attack (one click triggers a series of attacks), so you might find that frustrating.

I have a feeling the TC would hate The Witcher's combat system.

I think Planeforger made a good suggestion with Dark Messiah.

Well you mentioned Guild Wars, that's about as non-complicated of a game as you can get. Unless you just don't like having to choose what skills to use. But if you are looking for a deeper combat system you're not going to get a deep one with Guild Wars, in terms of gameplay mechanics. The depth comes more from picking your combo of skills to take into a fight.
