I add all my games to Steam, organized by categories. I also have a folder on the desktop containing shortcuts to all of my games. That folder and recycling bin is all I keep on the desktop.
with 1920x1080 res... the taskbar is huge, so I just stuff them all there having a clean desktop... the none-steam games of course. Steam games are accessible from the Steam icon on the taskbar
For non-Steam games: Start Menu > Programs > Games
For Steam games: in list view, categorised by genre.
Right now I have Steam games in Steam, and all other games on desktop. I didn't know you could do categories in Steam though. I might try organizing them more.
I tried putting them into categories once, but I buy so many genre-defying indie games that that quickly became a total mess. So...I don't bother organising them at all anymore. I don't even use desktop icons. If I ever need to find a game that's not in my Steam library, I search for it using Window's start menu search function...thing.Planeforger
Just make a category for "Miscellaneous" or "Indie".
I have a thing that just shows my installed games on steam. And for my non-steamg games I pin them to the taskbar I don't have any desktop icons.
I have a GAMES folder on my desktop with shortcuts to each game I have installed.
Also steam I have all my games on there (if they are not steam games I just have a shortcut there anyways). As for my boxed games they are near my computer.
Also ALL of my digital games I have on my two external HD's backed up so I can install em at any time.

That is a great idea bud, what about the games that you got besides during the big sales? :P
I still haven't made one for those yet, I was thinking of something along the lines of Weekend sales, or midweek sales. Or just leave them under Games. Please Log In to post.
