Age of Conan delayed again...

A norwegian business paper posted some news about age of conan from the Norwegian company funcom. According to a stock exchange message from Funcom Age of Conan will be delayed another 8 weeks so that the new release date will be May 20th. The delay is because the management in funcom means the game needs more time to get ready. Sad news indeed

Well not like it'd run great on my current rig anyway...

why is everyone anticipating this game, i know nothing about it but when i first heard of it it was on the release of dx10 and the hype over it was its graphics, but now we have crysis and bioshock and the like for that.

what is it that everyones anticipating, seams like a game that will get clive barker's jerico score reviews to me.

Well.. they do promise a lot of new things for this game.. First things I think of are the battle system, the possibility to fight mounted, player made city and fortress, and yes, the mature content (not only boobies) that will seperate this game from the "family MMOs" as WoW or CoH.

And by the way.. If you play the beta.. you've been asked not to speak of the game.. forums include that. And it's only natural that beta feels buggy and incomplete, the game isn't done yet.

This game is going to flop like Vanguard. That is all I'm trying to say.4th3ist

And quess what? You shouldn't say a thing. You signed the NDA when you joined the beta and breaking it is breaking a law. What about actually giving the devs some constructive feedback rather than bad-mouth the game. And like you can see, Funcom is actually delaying the game to polish it unlike Sigil.

The mmo market is not only pvp there budy, infact must of the mmo market is "rpg" players....take agood look at fury! The fact that it is getting alot of attenion is because it's a rpg..... when wow came pvp was a after thought. It still did very welll. Vanguard didn't do well because the game wasn't done. Even so the game devs broke even with that game.

This game is terrible. It boasts to be a PVP Game but its not zoneless, the PVP is still point and click, it is CLASS BASED, even in their seige sysytem which is a PVP mechanic you have to fight a RAID BOSS AT THE END. Wow. Try the beta. This game is going to flop. They need to delay for at least another year lol. For all the features they boast they can't deliver on half of them. The only reason this game has such a huge fanboi following is becuase of all the thirteen year olds who saw the naked boobies in this game. Whoop-de-dooo! Just my two bits.4th3ist

Thanks for the positive news, now i have to file a complaint to the MIB to wipe my memory of AoC's Existence. psssssss, this is gut wrenching. they might as well delay it to october. just like the first time. from a gamers point of view do they even know what they're doing? I mean seriously, i know it takes alot of work to make an mmo, but do they even have the capacity to make an educated guess on when the game is going to be finished?

(devs) " Ok we're almost done, %&#@!, i forgot something! Dammit! we'll just delay it another 3months"

Like most devs, they naturally love their product like it is. At least they listen to their beta testers and delay the game if they say so.
