Age of Conan (MMO) comes out next Tuesday!!!

It does look very promissing but i don't seem to feel like mmo's much right now, rather go out biking.

I have no problems with waiting.. Longer you wait the more clear the newbie zones will be, more stable game and maybe some added content and probably lower priced at the store so i will probably go to this in the fall.

Not a chance. Funcom has learned from their AO launch. And AoC has 600k pre-orders.

Anyway, this game is gonna be great. If you like mmo, darker settings, and great gameplay youll love this game.

Not at all like vanguard btw, cant even compare both launches (Id know, i played vanguard for a couple months too)

Anarchy Online successful? Did you know that the original plan was for the game to have only a pay-to-play version but because of one of the most horrible launches in history of MMOs, they had to change that.

Yeah I just learned about it this morning and found out I couldn't get in =(. My fault for waiting so long though.

From what I have read about this game, it looks to be nothing short of amazing. I really hope it does do well and be a competitor against WoW.

Personally though, chances are next to zero for a sale. I just don't play MMOs.

1) Subscription fees.

2) Time consuming.

Were you only in Tortage? The beginning of the game is highly instanced, because its somewhat of a single player portion of the game. I think it opens up more later, from what Ive read.

I'm really interested in this one, but I'm going to hold out for the initial reviews before deciding to pick it up. BobZany

If we go by gameplay features, graphics and lore...then AoC has already won. :)

I can't wait for this game to come out. I am one of those people who likes those kind of games, but doesn't get the system you need for it until it comes out. I was a system type person until I realized "Hey, these computers aren't that expensive". I guess I will get AoC that I pre-ordered it, but I need the computer. I have all the money required for the recommended computer requirements on SRL, but I just can't find a good computer/laptop that has 3GHZ and all the other stuff. Most of the computers I find are probably 2GHZ, but 4G of Memory/Ram.

I really want to try this game. I have left WoW and I wanted a more graphical game, so I hope this game will deliver. If it doesn't, then I guess there are no other MMO's for me to try. I just know that this game will be good. If not, I am spending $1,500 to just have a computer for normal stuff and not games :x

idk, i'm playing wow right now. i'm starting to make a new chracter on a different server.

i'll wait because even if it is good, it will probily be laggy as hell becaue of people joining. also people will proibly stealing kills.

If the reviews are any good there might be a small chance that I'll pick it up to hold me over till Warhammer, but then again probably not.

To compare this to HG:L is a little much. That game is fundamentally broken. Conan CAN be fixed, from what I've played. The core of the game is solid. The siege PvP and battlekeeps are still intact and they can become very fun. The lore of Conan is still there. The combat is fun for me, the cl asses are interesting, and the production values are there.

While I don't disagree that it could use a few more months, I do still think the game is playable and will be a fun ride.

Where is the "No, MMORPG's=No life" option? I found I just can't play them anymore, they take too much time away from real life, way too much time.
