Warhammer, its taken longer to realease so it wont be buggy like AOC.sergeantscul
What makes you so sure that they are taking this time to fix bugs and not add more content?
well...warhammer is just a wow remake in my opinion and i dont like wow so if i wont like aoc now when i buy it i dunno what ill do.,..davor_25
Warhammer isn't just a WoW remake, its PvP based, on a large scale (RvR - Race Vs Race). AoC is buggy & quite bland on higher levels. From experience with AoC & WoW, I rather WoW, and as much as I'm hoping Warhammer succeeds, I don't have high expectations for it.
But really, if you, or anyone for that matter, doesn't like WoW, maybe MMO's aren't your thing. WoW is the king at the moment, and when people say their looking for a great MMO that isn't like WoW, its kind of hard to give an answer, as all MMO's are similar. WoW just does it the best..
Edit: I should have mentioned that AoC is a great game, aside from the few shortcomings it has.
AOC is so boring, I stuck it out to lvl 33, but I cancelled my account yesturday. Graphically it was a pleasure to look at, but I'm not going to punish myself anymore playing it. Warhammer online, visually, the game looks like garbage, but it could be fun also.... AOC has shown me, looks aren't everything.Old_Gooseberry
These comments really get on my nerves. The graphics in both Warhammer & Warcraft aren't going for realism. Their an art-style. To me, it's like saying cartoons & comics are unbearable because they aren't as realistic as movies like The Matrix, etc.
The upside to beautiful, articulate graphics is that they don't generally need an awesome graphics card to run either, meaning the less chance of turning away a fan without the cash to buy a super PC.
I haven't played AoC but it looks like a great game. I've never been interested in any warhammer game to begin with.
So I think you should pick up AoC if you had to choose between the two. BUT! in my opinion I don't think you should buy either because I believe MMORPG's are a waste of time.
WAR just seems to be a WoW-clone with more emphasis on PVP imo.hama666
and WoW was just a noobed up EQ clone, whats your point?
and for those saying warhammer looks like crap, chances are youv never even seen it on high settings.
I tried AoC very boring game past level 60+
War looks like crap.
Soo... neither :)

Warhammer seems like it has a bigger budget since EA is behind it. It also seems like it's a very end-game based MMO.
AoC seems like the type of game that is mainly about leveling. I personally like to get the leveling over with ASAP and then experience a good endgame.
For me it's warhammer (says the guy with a warhammer avatar) but I did play some AoC it didn't seem like my thing, I've been following WAR for a while and if Mythic comes through on 80% of what they have promised the game has potential to be quite good

Agreed. And Warhammer looks great.
The graphics in War-hammer (not to mention moving animations) are horrible.
BTW I like the WoW graphics, its just that its last gen, and they do it better.
No one watches the warhammer graphics with full settings...its MUCH better than WoW. I am playing age of conan and I am not too impressed so far. I usually get addicted to all sorts of games very easily (especially RPGs) but I am onlu lvl 25right now and knowing my habits I would usually be lvl 40 at least by now. Warhammer also looks like its going to have a kind of crazy/humourous depth to it. Reading the descriptions of the different classes will really amaze you too.

True, however I did play the closed beta of Warhammer Online, and I was not impressed at all. The graphics, which never bothered me at all in WoW bothered me a lot in Warhammer.
The surroundings and the environments are horrible. When I made my first character everyone's character looked EXACTLY alike, it was just not my cup of tea.
I will 99% most likely pass on this game when it does come out.
