Well I finally have a computer strong enough to handle this game and I'm wondering, how is it? Everything I've seen looks fantastic: the environments, maturity, world, classes, ect. But I've heard the game was glitchy on release, is it still like that? Would you recommend it?
i wouldn't recommend AoC as it isn't a mature mmorpg -- yet. but to be fair, you should keep in mind that there's a very big update confirmed by funcom, and an expansion pack slated to be released in 2009.

The buggy stuff is being fixed via patch. If you like MMORPG's than i reccomend it. It's kinda like Grand Theft Auto but Grand Theft Horse in terms of adult content. Some of the first missions include rescuing prostitutes. If you dig that kind of stuff give this game a go.
No, do not buy it. People have been leaving in droves the past few months, servers are dead. The game is buggy, unfinished, and lacks content. Funcom's president recently sold many of his shares. It's a downward spiral, feel free to look at their official game forums, where you must be a subscriber to post. If you're looking for a new MMORPG, wait for Warhammer Online. It comes out Sept 18th and is a FUN, relatively bug free game with lots of content, and the RvR is great.
You might just wanna wait a little longer to buy it. Read up on it some more, see when the next big patch is comin out and so on. It still has its problems, granted even the best games still have bugs. Its important to remeber its a different cup of tea, so what one person says might not be all that great you might enjoy.

It was #3-6 the first 2 weeks on xfire... It started dropping rapidly like 3 or 4 slots a week. Now its in the 20's just because people reached 80 ( after grinding for weeks) and Im asuming quit. But to answer your questions... people think its mature because its rated M it just gives an excuse to say F*** every 2nd word. The Enviroment is superb (besides the billions of glitches) great graphics and whatnot. Theres quite a few classes but some are fairly rigged. In my low levels as a conquerer I killed stuff in a few hits and some combos while a preist of mitra or other class would 2 hit something... kinda rigged imho. Overall I would say save your money and get Warhammer Online which is going to be released in a few weeks.
