[QUOTE="ct1615"][QUOTE="1nverted"]Yes, the core game is fun, however the more you get into the game (50+), that is when you start seeing the cracks start to open. I'm almost completely out of quests at 53, I have no idea how I'm going to get to 60. The only 6man dungeon in my level range (Tombs) is completely bugged to hell and everyone knows, so people don't even bother to group for it.
I've heard that it only gets worse, to the point where leveling = finding a group and griding mobs over and over again, and it's apparent that the endgame is complete yet, so it's becoming worse and worse each time I log in.
In all seriousness, you need to hold off from buying this game for atleast 6months, hopefully a small portion of what they promised would be in at release is complete by then.

you can tell this was a business decision to release the game with all these known bugs. I wonder how many monthly subscribers Funcom will hold onto?
everyone agrees the game needs 6 more months of development but in that time frame, warhammer, LOTRO and WoW expansion get released.
Exactly,
Funcom shot themselves in the foot by releasing the game in the shape that it's in. You cannot expect your community to stay faithful when you're stil, fumbling around trying fix basic things that should have been completed long before launch (I mean, before last week, stats didn't even work o.o). Warhammer is yet to prove anything, although if they manage to deliver their PvP system then that is where the AoC pvp community will flock to, if only for a month, it will hurt Funcom.
Not to mention that they have EA backing them, WAR is going to get advertised to hell and back, something which AoC failed to do. Then you have LOTRO, not the greatest PvP game in the world, but it's got PvE covered and it's very stable, plus it has working DX10, player housing etc etc.
Last but not least, the juggernaut. Their is no telling what affect this will have on AoC's player base, it won't be positive though, as Blizzard is known for delivering very high quality and thoroughly tested content, on top of an already stable groundwork.
Funcom and AoC have a very rough future ahead, they need to get their act together and start releasing content, by the bucketloads.
the dumbest thing they did was not to have open beta you need open beta for any mmo best your beta tester are not going to get everything.they should what anet does have open beta first.
