I have come to the conclusion after posting many many times that i want to buy the AGP x1950. Then i came to a road block which brand to get. If youll who have already helped me so much could help me one more time id be greatly appreciative. I have heard so far that the HIS x1950 is great.

Thanks!

I have the Radeon Sapphire AGP X1950 PRO 512. Got it at newegg.com.

It's a good mid-range card. I get over 30 fps with the settings at medium with Crysis but shadows on low. Also got a good frame rate with the these listed demos: Hellgate London, COD4, Time Shift, UT3.

You won't be able to max out todays games but you'l still be able to enjoy them.

Just saw this card on newegg...

VisionTek Radeon HD 2400PRO 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 AGP 8X

It's an agp directx10 card. It migt be better then the x1950. Can't find any benchmarks but it's only 83.99.

the 2400 isn't very good. The X1950pro is better than the 2600XT, so the 2400pro doesn't have a chance.

Yes, the AGP HIS X1950pro was the card in my last PC and it gave it revived it. I cannot reccomend it enough. Playing all the games I had at the time inlcuding rainbow Six Vegas at almost high settings, Call of Juarez - colour clear and rich, no lag - an awesome card.
