I broke a game CD, but i have all the files on my hard drive and I want to burn the game on the dvd so i don't have to buy the game again, but when i try to burn it, it says the DVD-R is copy write protected. anyone know how to get past that? help!

Why don't you try contact the company and get them to send you another one.

Why don't you try contact the company and get them to send you another one.

I thought cost money also...

There are several people who likely know how to get past this protection on this forum, unfortunately we are not allowed to discuss circumventing copy protection on this forum, due to it being a violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Unfortunately the best I can do is direct you towards Google, as there are several other boards that allow such discussion.
