Alien vs. Predator - Your Predictions ?

Is this game gonna be Hott ?? I'm hoping so...! There have been only a handful of games in the past couple of years that I have truely been anticipating. Unfortunately - those games have been somewhat of a disappointment. :x

Examples of hyped games;RE-5, Force Unleashed, Wolfenstien, Dark Void, and of course MW2 . . .Overall good-but not what I, had hoped for.

The 1st AvP was okay - AVP-2 was Fab! - I really have High expectations of this Latest version of AvP-2010 ! !

So wadda U think? Is this gonna be another "Wolfenstien" flop? Or will this truely be something we should all Lood forward to ? ?

ditto, a good story is crucial. It gives reason to playing.

And I hope the multiplayer is good as well. three-team deathmatch was insanely fun, and then you add the different "classes" to the mix found in AvP 2....sooooo fun.

Anyway, the games u mentioned about anticipating were good, but they're new titles - it seemed clear of my reasoning of why I mentioned my selections of classic titles... but ah well, not everyone catches all meaning of someone elses messages, or some just enjoy disagreeing..

I'm not expecting it to be much more than a dumbed-down multiplatform action game tbh. None of the gameplay footage I've seen seem to contradict this either so I think I'll pass.

I am praying for a great game. I am in no way hoping it fails because I have been following it. Though I must admit I am skeptical.millerlight89

I think it will be a crappy console port. It may be a good game after some patching but still I have a feeling itll just be another crap port.

I am actually really looking forward to this game, here is why:

- I enjoyed the first two AvP games. Same developer.

- I like being able to play as marine, predator, and alien.

- I have never seen the movies and don't plan to (heard they were garbage), and this has nothing to do with them. The timeline is comic -> book -> video game -> terrible movies -> this game. So I'll be looking forward to a new fresh story. I did however see all of the original Alien movies and The Predator, both of which I loved, meaning I'll enjoy the characters and atmosphere.

- I haven't played a good single-player/multiplayer first person shooter in a while. I think this game will succeed at both aspects from previews I have seen. Lately FPS games have been either strong on multiplayer (TF2, L4D, etc) or strong on single player (Bioshock, Crysis, etc) and can't do both very well.

- I have friends who will be playing as well so it's bound to enhance the experience with us all in vent together.

and finally

- I have a gut feeling about this one. I know it sounds weird, but I am very picky when it comes to games and I'm quick to say "I bet that game is going to be terrible." Something about AvP is telling me it will succeed in my book.

I really am hoping for the best though....I really looked forward to Spore, watched all the vids and interviews etc...was so excited - then WHAM-fail! !

What the heck is going on with these developers??

I predict a solid 8. I predict I will buy it. I predict I will love it.

I predict it will be great and offer an experience that no other FPS can provide,.....until Natural Selection 2 is released that is...

Its Rebellions come back game, they know a lot of people have been waiting for this since 1999...so i don't think it will be a bad game.

There are gameplay vids of the first 10 mins of each race on youtube (providing SEGA hasn't taken them down yet) and in my opinion it looked like a total let down. Underwhelming graphics, dissatisfying combat (except for the kill moves) and fairly bad AI.

Atm I'm predicting 7's, but length, story and multiplayer could boost/lower that.

What I've seen so far looks good, I already preordered it.
