Hi, i'm just getting into Computer gaming. I want to know if the Alienware Aurora ALX is worth the extra couple hundred dollars compared to the regular Aurora. What does the ALX have over the regular model is what i want to know. Thanks in advanced.

Why? Are they both bad computers, or are there just better ones that are cheaper?

This. Build your own and buy an NZXT Apollo Case if you want that "Alienware look." It'll save you lots too, TC.

A lot, you can build a decent gaming comp for under $1000, Alienware are decent computers but far from the best. What you're really paying for is the brand name...

Build your own. Half of the cost is paying for the Alienware name.
