So I have been in the market for a good laptop for gaming and general browsing use. Ive allways heard that alienware made good gaming pcs and laptops but never personally owned one or know what to look for in terms of specs.

But I made up an Alienware M14x on their website for $1300 with these parts:

Processor:

Intel® Core™ i7 2670QM 2.2GHz (3.1GHz w/Turbo Boost, 6MB Cache)

Memory:

6GB DDR3 at 1600MHz

Video Card:

1.5GB DDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 555M

Hard Drive:

500GB 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s

So is this really worth the money? I would love to play games like Diablo 3, Skyrim, and SW: The Old Republic on this laptop.

Also if this isnt a very good deal can someone point me in the direction of a better gaming laptop?

Much thanks to anyone who can help.

its a good machine, dont listen to the haters that still think alienware is automatically a rip off. The only really comparable laptops ive seen are the asus gaming machines. You pay a few extra hundred dollars for the case, cooling, namebrand, and warranty.
