It was fun, but not that fun. I'd definitely suggest heading to the 360 forums though.

Uhhhh no. A gearhead is someone who likes to work on cars (ahlah the pc game Gearhead Garage). No pc gamer could be a major fan of thew thoroughly mediocre Gears of War.

I play Gears of War on PC and I am not ashamed to admit it. It may not be innovative, or new, but it does have its fun moments, and its a decent mindless escape from the humdrum.

And yet you'd rate Unreal Tournament 10/10? lol, I don't get this: I'm not saying this about you justthere, but there are people on this board who criticise Gears for being just a shooter but then would shoot themselves in the leg to play Duke Nukem Forever and say "oh its ol' school".

I have nothing against UT - but he's criticising Gears for just killing - okay granted there's a number of modes in UT where you do other stuff like Capture the flag, etc. But still the core gameplay is still shooting dudes. Do you get what im saying?

EDIT: Maybe a better example would be that he gave COD1 9.0 - now thats a straight shooter!!

okay .. that makes it even simpler, he said there is nothing interesting in GeoW, level design in CoD 1 could be termed as pretty interesting for some people
