So i've been looking at trailers for the game, and reviews. People say its repetitive but it looks like a good game, however probably not worth the $49.99. Any suggestions? If you say its a good game give me a reason, and likewise if it is a bad one. Thanks!

Wait a month, the price will drop by half at the very least. The reviews so far have not been very kind.

A good one is located HERE

Waiting is your best bet like he said, but also if the reviews aren't good enough you can always rent a game and try it for yourself.

Considering how well its selling? I doubt it will get a price drop that soon.

I've been playing APB quite a bit the past few days, infact I've invested like 30 hours of actual gameplay into it. While it is certainly fun, there are a lot of issues that really set it back and I must say I cannot really recommend it to anyone. Missions are very simple and repetitive, and the only fun you will ever have from them is when people from the opposing faction are sent out to kill you. Just doing an hour of mission gameplay is enough to run you through every mission type the game has, the ONLY appeal is the player vs player aspect of it. While it can be fun and engaging there are A LOT of flawed mission designs in some of the missions and it will generally leave a very very sour taste once you taste them.

There are also only 3 areas to explore, 1 being the social district where you spend your time customizing and buying stuff etc. The other two are where all the action boils down, and they're not really that big either. While I've certainly enjoyed my time with the game and have had issues with it, I'm left with mixed feelings about it. Does it warrant a monthly fee? I absolutely don't think its worth the $9.99 a month you will need to play it. Severe lack of content at the moment, and random wonkey gameplay mechanics mixed with questionable game design, I can't recommend the $50 price tag. I would be lying to you if I said I haven't had fun with it though, infact I've had a blast with it a few times when the game comes together, its just most of the time it leaves you with the stuff you don't want to deal with.

I would say it's kinda worth the $49.99, it is not however worth a subscription fee. If this game was an MMO then it would make sense, but since it isn't it really shouldn't have a subscription. The normal argument of "Well you are playing on the devs servers" is also a flawed one, since the only reason players play on their servers is bad design and the fact that somewhere down the line, APB probably WAS an MMO.
