Well, whenever I play a game on my PC it randomly shuts off. I have good cooling 6 case fans 120mm and 140mm fans. I think it might be my graphics card ( XFX 9800 GT). But I am not sure. Usually happens with cod 4 and 5 the most. The graphics card temp will hit like 65 C and then shut off my PC. It only happens while playing games. And as weird as this may sound it, happens the most at night. PLEASE PLEASE help me fix this!!!

So should I take it out of my motherboard and make sure the heatsink is on right? I have the gpu fan at 100 % when I game. So what exactly should I do to solve this?

Yea, take the cooler off and make sure you dont have too much thermal paste. Also check and see if the cooler is loose.

and blow any dirt, mud, lint, hair, yarn out of the fan and heatsink.

as for thermal paste, chances are you don't have any so w/e you see on the heatsink your prob best to leave it there
