i don't have much money to spend around 300 bucks and i've decided to buy the best computer available at that price. what i got was a

cpu: athlon 64 x2 brisbane 4400+

ram: 2gb pc-6400 ddr2 ram

mobo: asus m2a-mx

graphics: sigmacom radeon hd 2600xt gddr3 256mb

hdd: wd 250gb 7200rpm 16m

odd: lg dvd-burner(no lightscribe)

psu: 450watt

case: m-atx

im getting this for $320(converted into us currency) with a logitech easy desktop delux set and a pair of creative speakers. am i getting ripped off or is this a fair deal? also i have my own os i can install so thats no prob. for me.

is it too good becuz i looked online for the prices and got around $350 or so. i don't think im getting ripped off but could they be skimping on something like using a cheap ass power supply or using secondhand ram or so?

Thats a possibility, but if we dont know the specific makers of all the components, or even just who is making that computer, we cant tell you.

cpu: amd

ram: pretty sure they said samsung

hdd: western digital

graphics: sigmacom

odd: lg

mobo: asus

the maker is a local computer shop around my house... for the psu, im not too sure but but how much does a usable 450watt psu cost... im looking for one thats usable and reliable...

and i just called them right now and asked and they said they were going to use bulk components for everything except the mobo and the graphics card. is that bad?

kinokong

Bulk components just means that they got a discount for buying a lot of a certain item. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are of lower quality. I wouldn't worry about it.
