Am I the only one NOT looking forward to COD:Black Ops?

I love a good shooter and all but after COD:MW2 there is no way I would spend my $ on this next one.

To me the game has gotten so over the top (running 100mph dodging bullets and stabbing people & killing people with dual shotguns from way too far away are a couple examples) and unrealistic that you might as well call it Halo Black Ops....ok that might be a bit far fetched but still.

I don't know they seem to just be milking this game to death and it's getting worse all the time. I mean now we are going to have exploding remote control cars and cross bows....awesome how about a plasma rife too?

I don't know...to each his own I guess but I kinda miss the old days of Rainbow 6 and Ghost Recon. But hey that's just me I guess.

And after playing MW2 multiplayer for an hour I'll pass on any future CoD games aswell.

Well its alot like mw2. Its not for challenge its for fun. But i have to admit that i rather getting killed and kill commandos with double shotgun than the deathboring genericness moh mp was.

I dont know, i think another game has to come out that it wont be like moh. Because cod is 2 things, either reallistic as cod2 or unreallistic with perks and overpowered guns.

Personally i was not gonna bother because of treyarch but they seem to be doing better now. I will check the upcoming beta. If i have fun ill buy it later, providing the singleplayer is good unlike waw.

Wasn't impressed with CoD: MW, especially the MP side. I did get CoD:WaW just because it was a return to the WW2 setting, and the SP was decent enough, but again I didn't like the way the MP side of the game went, and decided to stop playing. Also decided never to get another CoD game in the future - can't stand the multiplayer, and the SP campaigns are just way too short, so I passed on MW2 and I'll pass on this.

I have no interest in it at all. Unlike MW2, I will not make the same mistake of pre-ordering garbage without so much as a demo or a multiplayer beta (bc2 gave me the beta, I enjoyed it, bought the game. MOH gave me a beta, did not enjoy it, did not buy the game). If by some chance, in the coming weeks after release I don't see an infinite amount of raging like with mw2, I may consider it. For now I'll stick to minecraft.

To me it just looks like another run-of-the-mill shooter for consolites to get excited about.

I'm not looking forward to it. After buying CoD 4 on sale (thankfully it was only around $12 on Steam) and playing it for an hour or so I immediately uninstalled it and never looked back. I should have known better - pretty much anything with that amount of hype is generally going to be mediocre or worse and, in the case of CoD 4, it was much, much, worse.

Not looking forward to it. It doesnt seem like anything new... its the same old recycled crap. The thing that bugs me is that games that should go to PC dont... and the games that shouldnt go to PC do. i.e. the CoD franchise, Lost Planet, etc. Games that would be good on the PC? Killzone series would be epic. I think that Halo Reach would be good on it as well, though I know there are a lot of haters against Halo so I am not sure if it would really do that well.

Not buying! Activision wont get a cent from me.

I'll just wait after it gets reviewed and see what it's like based on PC gamer's opinions. Everyone's opinions on MW2 really prevented me from buying MW2 after hearing a lot of issues with it. Let's hope with the return of dedicated servers, it would come back to it's awesomeness like CoD 4.
