No. Your version of Windows is most likely 32-bit.

Just because your CPU supports 64-bit doesn't mean that your OS is automatically 64-bit.

no its based on the OS itself.. your cpu has SUPPORT for a 64-bit os but this doesnt mean it is 64-bit windows.. generally speaking 99.9% of all windows xp copis in circulation today are 32-bit... in fact youd be ahrd pressed to find the 64-bit edition.

to find out here is waht you do:

start menu> run> int he text box type dxdiag and hit enter> let windows run its little tests and it should eventually come to a window.. in the various tabs are your audio details, graphics card info (sometimes it generalizes but its good enough to work with), ram amount, cpu name and clock speed, and finally windows version and its status as a 32 or 64 bit.

Your CPU is 64bit but your OS can be 32bit or 64bit. In order to find out what your OS (XP in this case) is, right click on "My Computer" then click on Properties. You should get a new window which will show you if you have 32bit (nothing is indicated) or 64bit (it will be indicated). What i mean with the "indicated" thing, is that if you don't see any number, neither 32bit or 64bit, that means it's a 32bit OS. Hope this helps.
