Well right now Intel is leading, but AMD just released their first quad core, I used to be an AMD guy myself, but I wanted a quad core, and AMD didn't have any at the time.

AMD quad cores are out now, i still prefer AMD no matter what due to how cheap they are.

Intel dual cores are faster than the AMD ones right now. Also overclock pretty far.

but AMD has a bigger bang for the buck aspect, intel processors are pretty expencive if your getting into quad cores and higher end dual cores.

Yeah AMD has always been more cost friendly, I like AMD because they keep Intel from charging outrageous prices, lol

Yeah. My first chip was an AMD, but after seeing some reviews on the C2D, I had to get one. I love it, but wish AMD would come out with something that would get prices lower. Although, the penryn quads coming out in march or whenever they delayd them to look very tempting, especially the Q9450 at $316, 2.66GHz, 12MB L2 cache, my next upgrade? :D
