AMD v INTEL

I know it must about the thousanth topic about it, but anyways, i wanna get a new rig, whichCPUis best for my gaming needs, couple of years back AMD were better, have things changed or not

At the moment, probably intel, they have the better performing chipsets, but in the bang for buck section, I don't really know. I bought my AMD AM2 64x 6000+ CPU a few months back for $230AU, and that's a bargain in my book, performs really good as well, so no complaints at all from me.Edgemaster666

lol the fanboys come out to play.

Right now, the E6750 is better than all the AMD dual cores with a small overclock easily achievable on stock cooling and voltage. The q6600 is the best deal for a quad core as well, and when penryn comes out intel will be even farther ahead.

True, AMD was better once, but they aren't anymore.
