amd's new processors

i was thinking about getting a X2 4600 when some one told me there making new processors and i was wondering if anyone knew anything about them like are they going to be better because i heard that the new processor arn't going to fit in the sockets that the X2's fit in

which x2 4600+ were you looking at the socket 939 one or the socket AM2 one?BballS91
