My pc is a pre-built, and naturally, everything about it is great except for the graphics card. I have a quad-core processor and 3gigs of RAM, but my graphics card is only an 8500 GT. I am not really a serious gamer, and all I really care about is being able to play games smoothly. If the settings are around medium-low but it still looks okay and has a good frame rate I don't care. So with that being said, I really don't want to get a new graphics card. So, how well will my 8500 GT play games like Oblivion or COD 4? What kind of games will I be able to play, and on what settings? Please help, and thanks in advance.t8trg8tr
Probbly most games on medium-low settings at 30fps Shoulda gone for a cheaper 8600GT

So I could play Oblivion/CoD 4?
Christ get rid of that card. Pick up a 8800GT.
From the Wikipedia article for the 8800 series:
"The GeForce 8500 GT isn't considered to be a serious gaming card, and is a bit slower than even a 6600 GT. It's about twice as slow as the Geforce 8600 GT, which has been considered disappointing and underpowered by many,"
