An old game... but my fav! need help plz!

Hi everyone... i've been looking for a game, for like 2 years now... I dont remember the name of it but i remember some of the things in the game. I played this like 5-6 years ago so i may remember a few things wrong.

ok here is what i remember...

You play as these robots, i remember in Singleplayer, u play as like... police robots and are in a city. I usually played multiplayer, (2 ppl can play at same time on 1 comp, split screen) as multiplayer, u each get a base on the other side of the map, and u can buy like normal tanks and planes, and giant tanks and planes. with your robot u can get different checkpoints i think which is like a mini base, but i may be wrong. You win when a tank gets into the enemy's base. But that isnt so easy since ur robots are pretty strong compared to the tanks and planes... thats about all i remember...

not sure if it's futurecop LAPD, ima try and find a demo to check it out, but this may be it!! :D tyvm for the help!

And as for more details, i dont remember much more then i wrote down, i think its TPS though, 3d game.

One of my favorite old games is Wing Commander: Privateer and I will never forget it and hope that a worthy successor comes soon (eventually).

BTW I remember in a previous post a while back another poster didn't remember the game and I helped him remember it, it was KINGPIN: Life of Crime.

Try right clicking on the EXE file, and selecting "run in compatability mode" for windows 95. I am certain it is that game...dnuggs40

i download the demo, in my downloaded files window it shows the setup.exe but if i right click it it doesnt have anything close to "run in campatability mode" so i'm not sure where u want me to do that. If i start it it loads the installation program, then it gives an error saying this game only works for win. 95 :(
