IW didn't make COD 3, it as made by Treyarch and was nothing compared to CoD 1 + UO and CoD 2. COD 4 will be amazing for PC, don't sweat it.

I know Treyarch made the game but they should of still released it.

So? Do you even know what Beta means? In many cases a beta gives a bad impression of a very good game. If anything I see it as a complement towards pc gaming.

I know Treyarch made the game but they should of still released it.

If it isn't made by IW, it isn't CoD in my eyes, just a company hired to rake money in on an existing IP. I'm sure there will be a beta for PC, just won't be "open" per say.

From the very begining, IW has always stated their comitment to the PC platform, and believe me that goes a long way nowadays. Not to mention, the PC version will have the edge over other versions of the game, not only for control schemes, but for online player limit caps (64 i'm sure).

Putting the Beta on a Console isa much better idea for IW than on the PC, they can keep it secure and how THEY want it to be distributed. Releasing the beta on the PC would most likely lead to people hacking it so that they can play any time. Or theres even the fact that because it wont usea world server (the way console games do), that people could just keep playing the Beta on dedicated servers.

Rest assured though, IW wont make a dodgy port, and the PC will most likely be the best version, with a larger online community and larger player caps.

So can we stop moaning about this people, so what if 360 users get a beta, good for them, but when the time comes the PC version will have the best community.

no, its showing that the game is being made primarily to the 360 gamers.

seriously SUCK UP your dam pc pride and stop finding random good things that 360 gets the beta and we dont, 360 is there main platform for cod4, MS prob tipped em a few buxs for an exclusive 360 betadarkfox101

Long enough that Microsoft could buy the exclusive rights to COD, just look at what happened to Bungie and Halo.
