Annoying Photoshop Grid With Transparent Images

The problem is when I open an image with transparency there's an annoying lined grid that appears over the image. This grid doesn't appear with any other type of image formats except transparent.

Thats because theres no layer beneath the transparent image. Just create a new layer below it in just plain white.

No, not that grid. There's grey lines over the image itself, in particular over black areas of the image.

Does View -> Show -> Uncheck "Grid" help?

If not, can you post a screenshot?

That didn't work. It only seems to happen with just certain png images that I have. I'm wondering if there isn't something imbedded in the images themselves that Photoshop has problems with because this issue is just with viewing the image using Photoshop. They were icons which I simply deleted and made new versions but I would still like to know what was causing that.

Why would his power supply have anything to do with Photoshop?
