Another BF2 question... (64 player lan map with bots)

Hi, I don't really play BF2 that much any more but I have some friends that will be coming over in about a week that love it. They are some ranch boys that don't get the chance to play video games, and last time they were over they seemed to take a liking to BF2. Whenever they come over I always hook up my old and new gaming computers together so we can play like IL-2 and stuff like that on both computers. I noticed that the 1.5 patch came out for BF2 and it allows you to play it withought the disk, which means I can put it on both computers and we can play togther. The only thing is... 2 people on a map?! That would suck! So I was wondering if you guys know of any mods or anything that I can do to get say like a 64 player map with bots. I heard about people doing it with 16 but I am not sure how they did it. Thanks for your help!

If you download the A I X mod i think you can play with bots and real people at the same time. Google bf2 AIX mod.RedDanDoc

Ok, thanks, I think traditional gameplay would be best so I am going to give the BF2SP64 moda try (I downloading the 1.05 beta). I won't be able to hook the two computers up until thursday, so hopefully that will be enough time to test everything and make sure it works ok. Thanks for your help.

First I played 64 players on a 16 player map... :shock: Imagine it turned up to 255... Anyways I went to do a LAN map and (Its just one computer) its just me and no bots. Will this be solved when I hook up the other computer and join it, which would start the round, and spawn bots possibly?

AI maps?

Well, it turns out that in the mod you can't select Coop in the multiplayer setup. I went to the regular game and selected coop, but now I can't have 64 player maps... Also I went ahead and tried a map and bots spawned in ok... 32 on one team and 8 on the other and bot ratio was set to 50. Any ideas now?
