Hey I was thinking about getting a Antec 300, but it shows that it is a mini tower. Are they considerably smaller? Can I fit an ATX motherboard in it, as well as the 8800 GT video card, etc etc?

in regards to cases, smaller isn't better. Technology is constantly evolving and growing, cell phones and laptops get smaller but p.c.'s get bigger because there is more that goes into them. I recomend that you buy a large atx case, I bought an atx case in 2003 and I am still using it even though I routinely upgrade every other componenet inside it. Its 1-200 dollars less I have to pay as I upgrade. Also, get a really big fan to sit right next to it and rent a tornado to sit outside yo sliding glass door.
the 300 is not a mini tower, it's a midi tower, same as all other PC case's.
If you don't want to spend as much as the price of an 900 the 300 is nearly the same fetures and cooling solution, all ATX (fullsize) motherboards will fit just fine don't worry it's a great case!

+1 for Swehunt I've done a lot of research, on read lots of reviews on the Antec 300
so far the only negitves is lack of a 3.5 drive adapter, cable management could be better. Minor quibbles
I'm yet to find a perfect case in that price range close contenders would be the Coolermaster 590 and 690.
