If you're thinking of importing, you'll have to watch out for customs. Not only will they open the package, they'll mess with it then look up how much it'd be to buy in the UK and charge you that plus extra for the effort.
A friend of mine ordered an airsoft weapon(BBgun) from the states, when it came he had to pay £60 at the door, even though it initially cost £40, and if he'd bought it in the UK it would have cost £70 total, on top of that, it was gassed and had clearly been used.
why american site when u've got www.overclockers.co.ukr3351925
Because English prices are so much higher than US prices.

Eh.. Its to do with high taxes and such in this country..
A good example of a price difference would be the Q6600. In America its availalbe for around $280-$300, which is around £140-£150. In England, it would be closer to £180. This is about $360!
Thats only one example, the price differences seem to vary quite a lot, although from what I have seen, there has not been a single item that has been cheaper in England than the US. Some parts are also not even available in England!
