Looks like the Wireless controller is about 16 more bucks on Amazon. Is wireless just as easy to use?

PS - I thought this was ok here and not on the hardware section, sorry if I was wrong :P.

I own and love both of them (best controller ever made, in my opinion) but if I could choose only one, it would be the wireless, simply because the long cord on the wired one can get tangled and/or tripped on.

Both designs have worked perfectly for years on my gaming PC, though, so either one is a great choice.

I'd go for wireless. I bought a wired one because its cheaper and I've always regretted it. I can feel the cord weight pulling slightly when holding the controller. Beside that, the obvious fact that the long cord is just a nuisance. It doesnt annoy me enough to actually buy a wireless now I have a wired one, but if I had the choice again I'd spend the extra $16.

Wireless. Cord tugging down your controller is annoying during long gameplay sessions, and do you really need another wire on your pc? You've already probably got your headphone wire annoying you from the front, and countless other wires coming out the back.

I'm only using a wired one as it was cheaper, but I would go for the wireless.

Wireless is more convenient in physical terms no wire to deal with is very nice. The advantage of a wired controller is it always being plugged in and on alot if not the majority of games won't work with my wireless controller if I turn it on after launching the game so if I'm playing a game with my m/kb and decide I want to switch to a gamepad I can't without restarting the game also the 360 chatpad so far has only been hacked to work with the wired 360 controller. I'll probably will go wired because of this despite having to deal with a wire. It be more managable if it was like the ps3 where I could hook up a really thin and light weight micro usb cable.

Wireless works very well and the batteries last extremely long with the computer adapter. Love playing games from my pc on my 47 inch screen :). The range is also awesome I play about 15 feet from my pc and it works flawlessly.

Wireless, although the the wired one is light then the wireless, you won't have to deal with the cord that starts getting not's on itself

Its just personal preference. I've always preferred wired.
